Hallstatt
#Hallstatt, also unofficially Hallstatt am Hallstätter See, is a market town with 734 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2023)[1] in the Salzkammergut in the province of Upper Austria in Austria and is located on Lake Hallstatt. Together with the Dachstein and the Inner Salzkammergut, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut. According to finds in an extensive burial ground above the village, a period of the older Iron Age (800 to 450 BC) is referred to as the Hallstatt Period.
Lammerklamm
The Lammeröfen or Lammerklamm are located in the municipality of Scheffau in the province of Salzburg.
The gorge is formed near the district of Oberscheffau by the Lammer, a tributary of the Salzach, and is the breakthrough between the Schwarzer Berg of the Osterhorn Group (Salzburg Limestone Prealps) and the Roadberg, a foothill of the Tennengebirge (Salzburg Limestone High Alps).
Wolfgangsee
The Wolfgangsee, formerly also called Abersee, is a lake on the edge of the Alps in the Salzkammergut at an altitude of 538 m above sea level (meters above sea level). Its outlet is the Ischl, which drains into the Danube via the Traun. With a water surface of 13 km², it is the largest lake in the province of Salzburg. The Silk Thread Border, Austria's only self-changing national border, which divides the lake into a Salzburg and Upper Austrian part, runs through it. Lake Wolfgang is an important tourist destination.
Gollinger Wasserfall
The Gollinger Waterfall is a waterfall located in Tennengau (Austria) on the border between Golling an der Salzach and Kuchl. The fall height of the water is around 100 meters, the water comes directly from the Schwarzbach Falls cave.
Dachstein West
Dachstein West is a ski resort in the border area of Upper Austria and Salzburg. It stretches between the towns of Gosau, Rußbach and Annaberg.
